Ladybug and Butterfly Craft

| July 9, 2018

Sometimes we don’t always want a wreath to hang on our door, but we don’t want it to be empty or boring! Today we’ll show you how to make a ladybug and a wreath hanging decoration you can place on your door this summer, or all year long if you want!

What You’ll Need:
  • Grapevine Ladybug Form
  • Flowers - Gerbera daisy
  • Grasses
  • Hot glue and glue gun
  • Ribbon
  • Floral wire
  • Grapevine Butterfly Form

Directions:
LADYBUG
  1. Stick a Gerbera daisy and a yellow daffodil into the neck area around on the ladybug. You can add a piece of grass or greenery as well for more dimension and length. Secure with hot glue or wire.
BUTTERFLY
  1. Take a length of ribbon and thread it through the hanger part of the form, tying at the end to create a ribbon hanger.
  2. Watch one of our ribbon tutorials and create a small bow with the same ribbon, attaching to the top of your ribbon hanger with wire.
  3. Trim off the long tails or any ribbon you don’t want to show.

Whichever one you like better, you’ll be able to enjoy them all summer. Thanks for joining us today! We have everything you’ll need to create these DIY projects and much more at any of our four Carolina Pottery store locations in the Southeast! Come visit us today! Happy Decorating!
