How To Decorate Your Mailbox For Christmas!

| November 29, 2018

In this video, we'll show you how to decorate a mailbox huggie for Christmas! Simply add a red bow for a classic look or get creative with ribbon and stems! We chose some buffalo plaid mesh, velvet ribbon, and patterned ribbon to create a unique look! Don't forget to fluff your bow!

What you’ll need
  • Mailbox Greenery Huggie
  • 1 Roll of Fabric mesh
  • Scissors
  • Pre made HOBO bow
  • Floral wire
  • Scissors
  • Red Velvet ribbon
Directions
  1. Take the end of your fabric mesh, pinch at the end, and attach at one end of your greenery with a branch by wrapping it around the mesh a couple times. Roll the edges of the mesh under to create a puff, push it forward a little bit, and attach to the greenery with another branch and repeat two more times to create three puffs total running the entire length of the greenery. Cut the fabric mesh from the bolt.
  2. Attach the bow you’ve already made in the HOBO style with a long piece of floral wire. Separate the streamers from your bow so they hang from either side of the huggie.
  3. Take shorter lengths of red velvet ribbon and attach on top of the fabric mesh starting underneath the bow and at the places where mesh was attached to the greenery. Tuck in any ends of ribbon out of sight.
Now place your huggie on your mailbox to brighten your mail-man’s day, and match any wreath or decor you have on the front door!
